Youth Camps

We're preparing to launch three-day discipleship camps for teen boys ages 13–18, hosted on our ministry farm and combining biblical teaching, mentorship, worship, and hands-on farming. But this vision can only become a reality with partners who share our desire to invest in the next generation.

The need

Mozambique faces a growing challenge of fatherlessness — through loss, but too often through abandonment. Many boys grow up without consistent guidance, biblical instruction, or a godly example of what it means to become a man of character and faith.

At the same time, many young believers know about Jesus but have never been deeply rooted in Scripture or personally discipled. The teenage years are a critical season — a time when identity, values, and faith foundations are being formed. We want to help young men build their lives on the solid foundation of God's Word.

Our Vision

We are developing three-day discipleship camps for teenage boys ages 13–18, welcoming up to 40 young men at a time with five dedicated Christian counselors walking alongside them throughout the experience.

From morning until evening, each day is intentionally designed around spiritual growth and personal development — biblical teaching in small interactive groups, worship, prayer, mentorship, team building, physical activities, and hands-on work at the farm.

These camps are designed not just to teach truth, but to create an environment where young men are known, encouraged, and challenged to follow Christ.

Rooted on the Farm

The farm provides the perfect setting for these camps — a place where faith and practical lessons come together.

While at camp, the boys will learn about agriculture through planting crops, caring for animals, and seeing firsthand how our goat, chicken, and fish projects operate. Each camper will even help plant a section of the farm themselves.

It becomes a living picture of spiritual growth: plant good seed, faithfully nurture it, and trust God for the harvest.

Along the way, they gain practical skills that can help them one day provide for their families and serve their communities.

Because these camps are intentionally focused on discipleship, we are preparing a process where each camper will complete an application, receive a pastor's recommendation, and come with a personal testimony of faith in Christ. Our desire is to create a safe, Christ-centered environment where young men are known, encouraged, and equipped to grow in their faith.

Before we can begin

What it takes to host the first camp.

A few improvements on the farm — built once, they serve the ministry year-round: feeding programs, visiting pastors, seminars, and every camp to come.

Facilities to build

  • An open-air gathering structure for teaching, worship & prayer
  • A covered outdoor kitchen for cooking over open fire
  • Sanitation — a septic system and initial toilet & shower

Equipment & supplies

  • 10 large tents, chairs & teaching supplies
  • Cooking equipment & food staples
  • Farming tools & a 500-liter clean-water tank
  • Notebooks, pens, hygiene materials & logistics
What this will look like

Three days, morning to evening.

To preach Christ. To teach Christ. To disciple young men — and help them become faithful husbands, responsible fathers, and godly leaders who recognize Christ as King.

Youth Camps

When you give, you're not funding an event — you're helping restore biblical manhood, strengthen future families, combat fatherlessness, and plant seeds in both the soil and the heart. The initial investment builds infrastructure that will serve the ministry for years.
