We are excited to announce, “Giving Hope,” a 12-hour ministry marathon and fundraiser taking place on Friday, May 30, 2025, at Grace Community Assembly in Branson, Missouri, from 12:00 noon and ending at 12:00 midnight (CDT). This powerful event will also be live streamed worldwide to bring together thousands in worship, prayer, and generosity to support vital ministry projects.
A pastor’s wife in Mozambique suffered a severe infection after cutting her finger while preparing dinner. Due to inadequate medical care at the local hospital, one of our nursing students helped arrange for proper treatment at home, ultimately saving her finger and hand. This intervention highlights the importance of access to basic first aid and the impact of community support in providing essential medical care.
As 2025 begins, Susan and I are embracing God’s call to rest in Him despite the challenges of last year, including financial struggles and ministry setbacks in Mozambique. Resting in God means fully surrendering to His will and trusting His faithfulness, even amid new trials. To anyone facing hardships, I encourage you to trust Him, keep your eyes on His promises, and find peace in His sovereignty.
This year will be another milestone for Hope of a Nation as one of our orphans in Zambia will be moving on to university. She is the first of our sponsored orphans to transition from secondary school to higher education. As she waits to enroll, she is actively blessing the children of her local community in a special way...

While their summer in Mozambique was filled with memorable moments, the Collmorgens' journey didn’t end there. In July, during our time in Mozambique, Jason delivered a sermon at a church planted by a dear friend. He shared with the congregation the importance of being unified as one body in Christ and helping to bear one another's burdens, together, as "one shoulder."
