For many students in Mozambique, the challenge isn’t the desire to learn — it’s access. As schools increasingly require electronic assignments, families without technology or reliable electricity face new barriers to education. Learn how we’re adapting to help students stay in school and continue pursuing their future.

We are celebrating exciting milestones in Zambia and Mozambique as Muma completed her first university term, Maggie and Jose enter their final year of secondary school, and Nelson nears graduation from nursing school. In regions where education is often out of reach, these achievements reflect God’s faithfulness and the impact of generous partners equipping students with opportunity, resources, and hope for a brighter future.

We are continually amazed and grateful for the incredible team that the Lord has brought together to serve through Hope of a Nation. Each member carries out their role with excellence, but more importantly, with hearts full of love for Jesus and a desire to share Him with others.

Nearly 300 children gathered in Dondo, Mozambique for our biggest Children’s Day yet filled with worship, games, and a special meal! The joy was abundant, and the growing turnout reminded us of the value of dreaming toward a dedicated space for future ministry.

This year will be another milestone for Hope of a Nation as one of our orphans in Zambia will be moving on to university. She is the first of our sponsored orphans to transition from secondary school to higher education. As she waits to enroll, she is actively blessing the children of her local community in a special way...

While their summer in Mozambique was filled with memorable moments, the Collmorgens' journey didn’t end there. They also had an unforgettable and impactful time in Uganda and Zambia, where they dedicated their efforts to understanding and supporting the needs of the orphaned children Hope of a Nation is connected to.

Hope of a Nation recently assisted the Siloam Mountain Junior School in rural Uganda by meeting some critical supply needs for the 618 orphans they board and educate.

This past November, Director of Medical Services, Vladimir John, and Director of Children’s Services Tony Gonondo, teamed up with another Christian ministry, Chosen Children, to conduct a health education and children’s ministry outreach in a remote village outside of Chimoio.

This year’s Christmas party for the children in our children’s ministry and orphan assistance programs fed and blessed more children than ever before!
