Give a Bible in Their Local Language

Help us get God's Word into the hands of our brothers and sisters in Christ. Many Mozambican pastors and church leaders do not have a Bible of their own. They may only have a partial Bible, like the New Testament or a publication containing only a few books from the New Testament. Even fewer congregants have a Bible. In fact, many times a church body of 30 to 50 people will only have one or two Bibles among them.

When you live on less than $2 a day, purchasing a Bible can feel unattainable, and, in most cases, Bibles are only available in larger cities. The majority of Mozambique's population lives in rural areas and can't afford to travel to the larger cities, even if they had the money to purchase a Bible.

We have been working to remedy this problem for as many of our Mozambican brothers and sisters in Christ as we can. There are over 40 languages spoken in Mozambique, so we purchase Bibles within their borders in their local languages. For those who are unable to read, we provide solar Bibles to congregations for group listening sessions. We then distribute them through our network of local partnering churches.

A Bible in a local native language is $10.

Here are some video testimonies from people who have received a Bible from us in the past. Listen as they share the impact having their own Bible has had on their lives:
