An Exciting New Partner in Ministry: Meeting the Needs of Children in Mozambique

By

We would like to give a HUGE thank you and shout-out to Hope House Children’s Homes for their recent sponsorship of a group of 38 orphan children in Mozambique!

Hope House has been helping to meet the needs of orphan children in both Kenya and India for a number of years, and we are so blessed to have them partner with us to help meet the needs of orphans in Mozambique.

One out of every eight children in Mozambique have lost their parents (usually due to illness, accident, or abandonment).  Approximately 90% of these children are living with extended family members, but with almost half of the population living below the poverty line, a family’s ability to feed and care for other children in addition to their own can be extremely challenging.

This cooperative partnership between Hope House Children’s Homes and Hope of a Nation will make it possible for our Mozambican team to provide supplemental food and hygiene supplies each month to help meet the needs of these 38 children.   In addition, our team will be able to minister to the children on a weekly basis with bible stories, songs, and games.  During this visit, each child will also receive a nutritious lunch while they learn about the love of Jesus and how precious each and every one of them are to Him.

You can help sponsor more children into this program for just $17 per child per month.
