Bringing compassionate healthcare and the hope of Jesus Christ to families in Mozambique's most remote communities.
Jossias Daniel serves on Hope of a Nation's medical team in Mozambique, where he travels throughout Inhambane Province providing medical care, health education, and compassionate support to families living in remote communities. He is passionate about serving those with little access to healthcare and believes every patient deserves to experience both quality medical care and the love of Jesus Christ.
Growing up in an orphanage, Jossias experienced firsthand the impact of people who chose to invest in his future. Through the support of Hope of a Nation's Education Sponsorship program, he was given the opportunity to pursue his dream of serving others through healthcare.
Whether caring for a sick child, encouraging an elderly patient, or praying with a family facing difficult circumstances, Jossias sees every interaction as an opportunity to reflect Christ's love.
In 2023, Jossias completed his university medical training as a Técnico de Medicina Geral*. Following graduation, he completed an internship with Hope of a Nation under the mentorship of teammate Lourenço Caetano.
Working alongside an experienced medical professional allowed Jossias to further develop his clinical skills while gaining firsthand experience serving patients in rural communities across Mozambique.
Since joining Hope of a Nation's Medical Outreach team, Jossias has helped provide healthcare to many hundreds of men, women, and children living in remote villages throughout Inhambane Province. His work includes diagnosing and treating common illnesses, prescribing medication, providing health education, monitoring chronic conditions, and helping patients access additional medical care when needed.
Jossias loves the Lord and has a deep passion for worship, serving as a keyboard player in his local church whenever he has the opportunity. He also enjoys sharing the gospel and encouraging others in their faith.
His greatest desire is to see lives transformed by the love of Jesus Christ. Through his medical ministry, worship, and personal relationships, he seeks to point others toward the Savior who transformed his own life.
